My little girl went home today.

When the alarm clock went off at four A.M. this morning I didn't want to get up. I knew I would be driving to the airport to send my little girl home. Even though she will be thirty on her next birthday and is married she will always be my little girl.
I have a lot to thank God for. Last weekend I was with both my children and their spouses. My grandson was also with us and he is so much fun. He is four years old and full of energy.
The drive home from the airport was pleasant. I stopped at the beach and kicked off my shoes so I could walk in the water. The time was well spent, reminiscing of those times we spent making sandcastles and playing in the water. I even remembered to thank the good Lord for not only my family, country and the beach but also for the men and women that fight for us. Thank you to all you out there that serve or have served our country.
I may be rambling today but I am in deep thought over the years past.
