I can't believe after living in Florida for most of my life I finally saw a Florida Panther in the wild. I was riding with a friend from Mariana, Florida to Panama City, Florida and on HWY 231 we both saw it run across the road.
My friend slowed down and as it passed in front of us she said, " What was that?". I told her it looked like a panther but that I thought the panthers in Florida were black. After some research on the Internet, I realize they are also tan.
I am so blessed to see such a magnificent creature.
