A Co-Worker Killed Herself

     A co-worker didn't come to work one day. She had always come in early and often left work late. She was so dependable that when she didn't show up one morning people became worried.  The boss called her home to find out where she was.  There was no answer so he called he emergency contact since she had lived alone for the past ten years.  They went to the home and went in and found her.  She had got up, dressed, left a note, then killed herself.

      It was a shock to everyone.  She was one of those people that always had a smile on her face.  She seamed to have it all together.  No one had taken the time to get to know who she was away from work.  We all did our job, went home or to our second job then home.  

     We are all so busy just surviving that we don't look into the life of those around us.  I know it's a hard world out there and it's even harder to ask for help.  Sometimes all someone needs is to know that someone really does care.
